The Commuter Duffel Bag for Modern Routines
Designed with a padded laptop sleeve, rolling luggage loop, and interior zippered shoe compartment, this compact commuter duffel is built for gym-to-office days, one-day outings, and overnight travel. It fits easily under airplane seats and office desks while keeping your essentials organized. Finished with a detachable navy cotton shoulder strap, navy zipper trim, brass YKK zippers, and leather handles and pulls. Carry-on compatible.

First of all, I would like to commend the customer service - when I called, they said they would do their best to make me happy with my purchase and they were spot on. As for the bag itself, I just got back from my first weekend (three day) trip with it, and it was perfect. Fit everything I needed and I was able to put it under an airplane seat with no problem. I had someone with exacting standards for product quality look at it and she said the build quality was extremely high. Nitpicky things for improvement on future versions of the bag: could use another outside pocket, a handle wrap and metal bag feet since it might sit on the ground under an airplane seat.
First of all amazing customer service. I’ve had this bag for four years and the zipper started to burst. I sent it in for repair and since it couldn’t be repaired they sent me a brand new bag. Wasn’t expecting that at all. As far as the bag goes it’s a perfect weekender, carry on, or commuting bag. It’s probably the bag I use the most. Only flaw I would say is that the laptop sleeve is a bit loose but when the bag is fully packed you won’t notice it. The leather handles are also a little stiff but they break in really nice with wear. As you can see from the photo, the bag will develop a nice patina and actually lighten with wear. You can re-wax and it will darken again but I prefer the broken in look. Get this bag if you’re in the market for a nice weekender!
I’ve been using the commuter duffel bag for one month and I love it. It’s the perfect size for my needs - bigger than a briefcase but smaller than a weekender bag. I can comfortably fit my work laptop and leather portfolio in the interior sleeve, a pair of shoes in the zippered shoe compartment, a travel umbrella, notebook and folder, my Yeti lunch bag (don’t judge me), a sweatshirt or light jacket, and my 24oz water bottle with flip cap. The side pockets are nice and there is one small zippered compartment on the side. I feel like the photos and description on the site didn’t do the product justice - there weren’t a lot of pics to showcase its actual capacity size - but I will say the bag turned out to be exactly what I was hoping for. It looks really nice and is a perfect size for my commuting needs - hybrid work but when I drive to the office I have to walk almost 10 minutes through the city. Two minor suggestions for improvement - a leather pad on the strap and maybe a few small interior zippered compartments for keys, sunglasses, etc. I can’t speak to its durability, but it’s handled rain really well. Overall I’m a big fan of this bag.
Perfect size for a weekend trip. Has a great plastic pouch on one side of the inside for dirty clothes. Love it!

Exactly what I wanted and the quality feels exceptional. Many comparable bags have lots of pockets which I have found makes it difficult to fit everything I want. This bag I can organize how I like, or fit larger items. Still perfect for short trips or under airplane seats.
The zippers are low quality for the price of the bag.
I was looking for a bag that I could use as a "carry-on" on flights for short duration trips, when intending to not check luggage. I didn't want the classic hard luggage carry-on suitcase. The details that I was really looking for, and this bag has, are: perfect medium size, shoulder strap, durable construction, a way to attach it to the handle of your big suitcase and for it to sit on top nicely, easy access top (i.e. not a zipper straight across), real leather accents (not "vegan" leather... ugghhh sorry, I know that's not popular these days), and a classic look (god forbid, no pink, purple or garish patterns!). I am a woman with small feet and small clothes so I can fit a TON in this bag (unlike the photo showing a pair of men's sneakers taking up almost the entire bag, haha). So this is the perfect bag for me for a short trip, but it will also be great when I am on long duration travel and have my large checked bag, and can carry this on with extra stuff. Really happy with the quality... it is just as good as it looks! I had looked at some "fashion" brands who have similar bags that quickly fall apart (per the reviews), not this bag... I suspect it will outlive me! The price is completely in-line with the quality, in fact I would say it's a good value. Thank you Hudson Sutler!
Actually I need this bag but its price put me off as you can see my email I'm a student one factor the second factor is that I'm coming from very far away in Africa so you can weight out how financially capability I will be. Kindly please consider the price point view for me as we are heading to the Thanks giving celebrations!
