This Cookie Policy explains how Hudson Sutler (“we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on hudsonsutler.com (the “Site”). Read it together with our Privacy Policy, Terms and Conditions, and Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page.

What cookies and similar technologies are

Strictly necessary

These cookies are required for the Site to work and cannot be switched off. They support:

Analytics and performance

We use these tools for reporting in aggregate rather than to build profiles of individual customers, but the underlying data can include online identifiers associated with your device.

Session replay and heatmapping

Microsoft Clarity records how visitors interact with our pages — clicks, scrolling, mouse movement, and page-by-page navigation — and reconstructs those interactions as session replays and heatmaps. This helps us find broken or confusing parts of the Site.

Clarity is configured to mask form fields, so it does not capture passwords or payment details. It does capture the pages you visit and how you move through them, and that information is processed by Microsoft under its own privacy practices. You can switch this off through Cookie settings.

Advertising and marketing

These cookies let us show you advertising based on your activity on our Site, measure whether those ads work, and build audiences for campaigns. Using them involves sharing information — such as online identifiers, pages viewed, and products purchased — with the platforms below:

• Google Ads and YouTube — retargeting, conversion measurement, and video advertising
• Meta (Facebook and Instagram) — retargeting and matched-audience campaigns, which may use a hashed version of your email address
• Pinterest — retargeting and conversion tracking
• X (formerly Twitter) — retargeting and conversion tracking
• Klaviyo — on-site behavior, email engagement, and SMS attribution for our own marketing

This category is the one that may count as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under US state privacy laws. Opting out through Cookie settings, our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page, or Global Privacy Control stops it.

Functional

These cookies remember choices you make so the Site behaves the way you expect — for example your language and region, and recently viewed products. If you turn them off, some conveniences will stop working.

Cookies set by Shopify

Our store runs on Shopify, which sets its own cookies for security, platform functionality, checkout, customer accounts, analytics, and marketing attribution. Because Shopify maintains these directly and updates them over time, the accurate and current list is published by Shopify at shopify.com/legal/cookies.

Seeing the current list of cookies

The specific cookies on this Site change as we add, update, or remove apps and marketing tools. Rather than publish a fixed list here that would fall out of date, we maintain a live inventory in our consent tool.

Open Cookie settings and expand any category to see the cookies currently in use, who sets them, what they do, and how long they last. That view is generated from the Site as it exists right now, so it is always current.

How consent and opting out work

We use Pandectes as our consent management platform. What happens when you arrive depends on where you are:

• If you are somewhere that requires consent before non-essential cookies are set — such as the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom — analytics, session replay, advertising, and functional cookies are held back until you make a choice. Only strictly necessary cookies are set before then.

Either way, you can accept all cookies, reject everything that is not strictly necessary, or choose category by category — and you can change your mind whenever you like using Cookie settings or the cookie settings link in our footer.

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

Global Privacy Control

Global Privacy Control (GPC) is a setting available in some browsers and browser extensions that tells every website you visit that you do not want your personal information sold or shared. If you turn it on, we treat it as a valid opt-out request and act on it automatically. You do not need to create an account, contact us, or give us any additional information. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” setting, but there is still no agreed standard for how websites should respond to it, and we do not currently respond to Do Not Track headers. We do honor Global Privacy Control, which is the more reliable option if you want your preference respected automatically.

California

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, California residents have the right to:

• Know what personal information we collect through cookies and how we use it
• Delete personal information collected through cookies, subject to certain exceptions
• Correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you
• Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights

We act on opt-out requests as soon as we receive them, and in every case within 15 business days. Opting out is free, and we will not ask you to create an account or give us information beyond what is needed to act on the request.

We do not use cookies or similar technologies on this Site to collect precise geolocation or other categories of sensitive personal information for purposes that would require a separate right to limit their use.

Other US states

A number of other states — including Colorado, Connecticut, New Jersey, Oregon, Texas, and Virginia — give residents comparable rights, including the right to opt out of targeted advertising and the sale of personal data. How long cookies and cookie data last

Cookie lifetimes vary by purpose. Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies may last from a few days to a couple of years — the current expiry for each cookie is shown in Cookie settings.

The information collected through cookies is retained for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for, and then deleted or aggregated. In practice that means:

• Analytics data — retained for up to 26 months at the user level in Google Analytics, then retained only in aggregate
• Session replay data — retained according to Microsoft’s retention schedule for Clarity
• Advertising and audience data — retained for the life of the relevant campaign or audience, and subject to each platform’s own retention limits
• Marketing engagement data — retained while you remain a subscriber or customer, and for a reasonable period afterward for recordkeeping

Our Site links to other websites we do not control, and we are not responsible for their cookies or tracking practices. We suggest reviewing the privacy policy of any site you visit from ours.

Changes to this policy
